2. Definitions

Reclaim/Claim: The process initiated by a customer to retrieve overpaid stamp duty.

Case: The specific instance or application of a stamp duty rebate claim.

Rebate: The amount returned to the customer upon a successful stamp duty claim.

No Win No Fee: Our commitment that charges are only applicable if the claim is successful.

Deducted: The method by which our fees are subtracted from the rebate amount before payment to the customer.

Challenge: An objection or dispute raised by the government or relevant authority regarding a stamp duty rebate claim.

3. Use of Services

Eligibility: To use our services, you must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

Service Outline: We provide assistance in the evaluation and processing of stamp duty rebate claims.

No Win No Fee Policy: Fees are only charged if the claim is successful and will be deducted from the rebate amount.

Engagement/Authority Letter: By signing the authority letter, clients agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth by stamphero.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Information Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided for your claim is accurate and complete.

Cooperation: You agree to cooperate fully with us and provide any additional information or documentation as requested to process your claim.

5. Fees and Payment

Fee Structure: Our fees are contingent on the success of your claim and will be deducted from the rebate amount.

Payment of Rebate: After deduction of our fees, the remaining rebate will be paid to you via your preferred payment method.

6. Government Challenges

In the event of a challenge by the government or relevant authority regarding a claim, stamphero will work diligently to address and resolve the issue in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. However, the client acknowledges that such challenges can impact the outcome and timing of the claim.

7. Privacy Policy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

8. Limitation of Liability

Stamphero is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer. Our liability in connection with any claim will be limited to the amount of our fees for that claim.

The company will not be responsible, should the third party, within 9 months of the compensation payment, impose any losses, penalties, surcharges, interest, or additional liabilities arising from the supply by the client or others of incorrect or incomplete information, or from the failure by the client or others to supply any appropriate information or the client’s failure to act on stamphero's advice or respond promptly to communications from stamphero or the relevant authorities. In this case, the company will refund any service charge paid by the client.

Should the third party, within 9 months of the compensation payment, request a refund of the compensation, plus interest, and/or impose a penalty, the company will, in this case, refund any service charge paid by the client to stamphero, as well as any penalties imposed, and/or interest charged by the third party.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
